I am
Coert Visser, a self-employed consultant in the Netherlands.
I live in Driebergen, a beautiful village in the center of the
country, and I have my office there too. My wife Marjorie and I have two
sons, Justin (13) and Brent (10) (see
their Dutch
jokes-site).
In my work as a consultant, coach and trainer I use the solution-focused
approach. I was born in Groningen where I studied psychology. Before I started my own
consultancy in 2000, I first worked at SHL and then at
PricewaterhouseCoopers. I have written many articles and book reviews.
Also I have (co)written five Dutch books. One of them, Doen wat werkt (Doing
what works) won a price for the best book for HR-managers. This was a
great suprise for me and a very nice encouragement to keep on writing.
Here is my Dutch site:
www.m-cc.nl and here is
my weblog
www.oplossingsgerichtmanagement.nl which is dedicated to the
application of the solution-focused approach to management. I am also
editor of
www.managementsite.com a site containing many interesting articles
for consultants and managers. You can find book reviews by me
here. You can reach me here:
